COVID-19 has cut down on a lot of road transportation. From daily commutes to drives for summer vacation, the amount of road transportation is down. And, with fewer drivers on the road, transportation revenues are dropping. State departments of transportation need financial relief just to maintain their 2020 highway construction program.

In a recent article from For Construction Pros, they state “Our roads and highways are in desperate need of repair and the industry needs Congress to do something about it.”
