Quantum Health takes advantage of Section 125 Plans (also called Cafeteria Plans), which are allowed under the IRS tax code. A Section 125 plan allows employees to pay for healthcare premiums pretax, reducing the employee’s taxable income while allowing them to receive an after-tax wellness credit. The company also pays less employer taxes because its employees’ taxable income is reduced through this plan.
